It’s more than a year now, we all have been going through this testing, unaccustomed, unfamiliar and unpredictable time, which we had never imagined in our wildest dream but we are facing them and this is the reality of now.
Our life has taken a sudden big turn into an unknown zone. We are bewildered, wondering. What’s happening? What will happen?
We are not able to take control of any aspects of life and a sudden realization dawned on us, we have come to this understanding that actually nothing was ever in our control, we had just made ourselves believe so!
Slowly, we are somehow getting hang of situation, coming in terms with the current scenario, but still wondering about the time to come.
How, what, when, where, why, …??
So many questions but almost no answers!
Lately, while interacting with my clients, I got this understanding that we are literally postponing things, waiting- Waiting for something which we aren’t clear about but are hoping and waiting!
And I am wondering; Are we just trying to survive right now by putting life on hold? Waiting for the time and life to go back to the time before this pandemic and restart from there?
Can that happen? Is that possible?
“We do not know”- that’s what one can say
but “We do know” that time never travels backward!
Life after this might not be the same as it was!
So, few questions we might want to ask ourselves-
Is it OK to just survive right now? To put life on hold? Wait for everything to get normal as it was and then start living again, thriving again?
Are we so sure about our future?
At least, one message this time has given to mankind is: that nothing is certain and predictable and no matter how much we have advanced and progressed but still many facets, especially nature, are beyond our control.
Then to wait for what?
Can we not try living the life now, each moment to the fullest?
Should we not realize that life is happening now?
Neither it was in past, nor it would be in future!
Whatever we have, we have NOW!
Therefore, let’s get up, get thriving, get ready to make today, each day as a best meaningful day!
Take care of Self, your overall wellbeing, eat your favourite food, wear your most favourite dress, your best makeup, follow your hobbies, take care of your family, be in touch with your friends, tell someone “I love you”, express yourself completely and honestly, connect with people, help others, do charity, don’t judge others, be empathetic towards fellow beings, do everything which makes you feel good but stay within the prescribed guidelines, follow the rules of the authorities.
Do not let the fear take over you, be an example for others and show up each day.
Because…
Aane wala pal jaane wala hai, ho sake toh isme zindagi bita lo…
